Corporate HR seeking an HRIS Data Systems Specialist to join our team and play a key role in the successful implementation and management of our global HRIS, Workday. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a global initiative, working with international teams during the system implementation phase and later taking full ownership of its ongoing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
During Implementation Phase
HR Data Migration:
Execute all tasks related to the migration of HR data into Workday, ensuring smooth and accurate transitions.
Data Management: Maintain and manage the master Excel reference file, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates.
Collaboration: Work closely with local HR teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies, improving overall data quality.
Data Mapping: Extract, analyze, and map data from multiple systems into the Workday framework, ensuring alignment with system requirements.T
esting and Validation: Validate data accuracy during migration, conduct thorough testing of interfaces, and resolve issues to ensure system readiness.
Coordination with Consultants: Partner with the external Data Lead Consultant to align strategies, timelines, and deliverables for successful implementation.
Post-Implementation Phase
HRIS Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for Workday on a global scale, ensuring optimal system functionality.
System Enhancements: Work with the HRIS Manager to collect, analyze, and implement requests for system enhancements, updates, or new features.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the HRIS Regional Representatives, ensuring they follow best practices and maintain data standards.
Data Governance: Oversee ongoing data quality management and ensure compliance with global data governance standards.
System Integration: Manage data collection, integration, and updates for new modules, enhancements, or system changes.
Required
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:Workday Expertise: Hands-on experience and expertise in Workday HRIS are mandatory.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Data Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR data structures, data governance, and best practices for maintaining high-quality data.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills.
Implementation Experience: Familiarity with data migration processes, mapping, and interface testing is highly desirable.
Language Skills:Fluent in English (mandatory).
Proficiency in Spanish or other regional languages is a strong advantage.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
