Your Mission

REALIZE YOUR TALENT

The Production Manager directs and leads the local Active Optics teams. Products engineered and built onsite include highly technical and innovative transceivers modules that are setting industry standards. To support our production ramp-up, we are looking for someone focused on continuous improvement and on managing the change!

The Production Manager deploys the Production, Quality, Method and Supply Chain Management strategies defined by the Industrial Operations Director and General Management. They guarantee customer deliveries in compliance with quality, cost, lead time and HSE objectives.

  • Organizes all planning and production activities (distribute, monitor and control all tasks within their scope).

  • Develops and staffs their teams in order to best answer customer demand short, mid and long term.

  • Acts as the Operations interface with all other services locally and within the group. Owner of the condition of the production equipment means (preventive and reactive maintenance) including the clean room, and their performance.

  • Serves as the local interface for Industrialization and Engineering for the development of new products and/or new production tools.

  • Supervises, leads and coordinates resources within their scope of responsibility (production, supply chain, quality, methods, etc.).

  • Develops improvement plans and takes responsibility for their deployment.

  • Ensures compliance with HSE rules.

  • Defines and tracks the team results and production objectives.

  • Participates in developing their team's skills.

  • Collaborates with site and business leadership in developing investment plans and monitoring their implementation (budget).

The Profile

KNOW THE REQUIREMENTS

  • To comply with export control laws, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, mechanical background a plus

  • Experience in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma tools and processes

  • Advanced skills in Excel spreadsheets

  • SAP experience or worked with similar ERP systems

  • 5 years of experience minimum; prefer 2-3 years of Fiber Optic Assembly and 2-3 years of Supervisory experience

  • Technical product manufacturing experience

  • Good level of work autonomy and reporting

  • Aerospace/Defense Industry Background a plus, medical test/measurement experience helpful

  • Experience collaborating with international teams and working in a multinational organization across North America and Europe a plus

  • Ability to work on-site five days per week, no remote or hybrid available
