Your Mission

POSITION SUMMARY

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost performance across the organization. This role uses Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable business results and support a culture of operational excellence.      

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, and process optimization.

  • Analyze current workflows, production processes, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Facilitate Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis activities.

  • Develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices.

  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and project outcomes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams.

  • Support implementation of Six Sigma methodologies and statistical process control techniques.

  • Conduct time studies, process capability analyses, and workflow assessments.

  • Train employees on continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.

  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership review.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

The Profile

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

  • 3–7 years of experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, operations, or process engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

  • Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, and data analysis tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytical software.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

  • Experience with ERP/MES systems.
