Your Mission

The Environmental Compliance Engineer ensures adherence to global environmental regulations, including REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and TSCA, by managing supplier surveys, analyzing compliance data, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to address compliance issues, streamline processes, and stay informed on regulatory changes to maintain high compliance standards.

The Profile

Key Responsibilities:

●       Supplier Surveys: Design, launch, and monitor supplier compliance surveys, analyse responses, and resolve escalations to ensure timely completion.

●       Compliance Reporting: Analyze data, update compliance databases, and prepare detailed reports on compliance status and performance metrics.

●       Regulatory Adherence: Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations such as REACH, RoHS, TSCA, and Conflict Minerals, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

●       Database Management: Maintain accurate compliance records, identify gaps, and suggest areas for improvement through regular reporting.

●       Collaboration: Work with internal teams and suppliers to address compliance issues, align on regulatory requirements, and drive process improvements.

●       Process Optimization: Suggest and implement enhancements to survey tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Key Competencies:

●       Technical Expertise: Proficiency in environmental regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS, CMRT, TSCA) and supplier survey management.

●       Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve compliance issues promptly.

●       Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data management, reporting, and documentation.

●       Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and with suppliers.

●       Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of chemical substance regulations and their application in various industries.
