The Sr. Automation Engineer designs, builds, implements solutions and improves current automation solutions to optimize processes through the integration of technologies, search and application of new technologies and provide guidance/support for basic integration developed by Manufacturing Engineering.
SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES:
Design, implement and build automated equipment to improve productivity through technologies integration
Monitoring automation equipment to continuously improve its performance.
Determine and put in place all actions and projects that may improve automation equipment process control.Consult, monitor and review automation technologies in different areas and work as a team to improve productivity through industrial process control.
Promote new automation solutions to improve the efficiency as well as deduct the cost, and continuously improve productivity
Ensure that the machine integration process complies with safety requirements and quality systems, monitor projects through to machine qualification, and continuously improve the level of integration.
Respond to and support requests for assistance when automation equipment or machinery fails.
Determine maintenance rules of the automation equipment and its tooling in collaboration with maintenance and according to production and quality level required.
5+ Years of experience in the development of automation projects
English: B2 upper
Field of study: Mechatronic, Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineer or similar
Advanced solidworks
Knowledge of mechanics, programming and networks
