Your Mission

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Manager position entails managing production, planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of the production function while ensuring optimum utilization of resources to increase quality, quantity,  cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage and oversee the production process and organize production schedule 

  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines

  • Supervise production team to manage and execute production projects with quality work, completion of work orders against standard time

  • Participate and promote the continuous improvement, support, and guidance to all employees

  • Establish ambitious production goals

  • Ensure with the team to plan, schedule, and perform production activities

  • Develop production programs and guidelines to support company objectives and communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management

  • Determine equipment, material, and manpower requirements for project execution 

  • Ensure that the team follows company policies and safety standards through the control plan

  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement

  • Working with other departments (e.g., engineering, purchasing, logistics, quality) to ensure smooth production flow

The Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or higher (Mechanical/ Electrical-Diploma/ Engineering - Manufacturing Operations)

  • Professional - Level: 8+ years of relevant work experience, executive



Specific Job Skills, Specialized Knowledge or Certifications 

  • Steer and oversee daily production activities

  • Schedule and lead production reviews and KPI meetings

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments

  • Ensure implementation of best practices across production teams

  • Negotiate and allocate resources; mobilize and align stakeholders

  • Engage with stakeholders and internal teams to establish and commit to feasible timelines

  • Define and coordinate necessary resources to meet production targets 

  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies, including lean tools, Kaizens, suggestion systems, and A3 projects

  • Utilize risk analysis methods to enhance decision-making and process reliability

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning concepts

  • Apply effective management techniques in leading production teams

  • Set SMART goals, develop manufacturing strategies, define clear roadmaps, and empower team to achieve objectives

  • Regularly assess team and production performance and make data-driven adjustments as needed
